This listing has a video of a labadoodle guarding the ball. A cavapoo about to grab one and Macy posing with hers.
The balls are made from cut offs of natural, black, orange or blue sheepskin.
Sheepskin is also used as the stuffing for inside the ball giving it a stronger scent
A length of hemp is attached to the ball so you can play tug with your dog.
The balls are made by sewing two circles together
There is no squeak inside the ball but one is easy added if required. Just message me to have a squeak added.
My own schnoodle can't always make this ball squeak when it has one added but this doesn't appear to bother her. She just seems to love dashing around, shaking it and trying to pull the wool out!
I use all of the sheepskin l buy. The good parts are turned into balls. The not so good as stuffing. Therefore nothing goes into landfill.
Sheepskin is not indestructible and continual chewing will eventually damage it.
Small rips in the seams can be repaired by sewing them closed with linen thread
As with all doggy toys supervision is advised.
The life of the toy will depend on the play interaction.
